Overview

In August 2024, Gavilan & Associates launched an integrated marketing campaign to promote attendance of Railway Interchange 2025, which brings 4,000 professionals together for education, networking, and exhibits.

Research & Discovery

We began by conducting in-depth interviews with 10 exhibitors and attendees, reviewing competitors' events, reviewing previous conference data, and speaking with show management to inform the marketing strategy. 

Strategy

The research findings influenced the development of the campaign theme: Innovation Ahead. This theme was applied to custom graphics, a comprehensive messaging platform, digital ads, videos, emails, social media, a marketing toolkit, a redesigned website, and more.  

Results

The digital ad campaign through Feathr and Google Ads generated 448 registrations; the email campaign generated 422 registrations, and the website received 30,000 new visitors in the months leading up to the event. In addition, the conference was ranked #2 in for most branded SEO terms.
