Annual Meeting Marketing Communications Strategy

Overview

In 2023, Gavilan & Associates partnered with NAGC to develop a multi-channel marketing communication campaign to promote their annual meeting. Facing concerns about hosting the meeting at a Disney property in Florida, our team worked with NAGC to develop a marketing campaign focused on inclusivity.

 

Strategy & Implementation

The six-month campaign included:

  • Developed and implemented a multi-channel communications plan
  • Prepared a messaging platform for use on multiple communication tools, including the website, social media, emails, and signs
  • Created a conference look based on the already established logo
  • Developed promotional and speaker videos
  • Wrote copy for and designed signs for onsite use
  • Managed the timeline, budget and day-to-day implementation
  • Prepared “Who Attends” infographics
  • Prepared a downloadable toolkit for speakers, exhibitors and attendees

Results

The 2023 conference promotion helped generate attendance by more than 2,000 educators, gifted coordinators, psychologists, researchers, and caregivers.
